The city is famous for the revered Shri Jagannath Temple, dedicated to Lord Jagannath, along with Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra. Puri is also known for its grand Rath Yatra, which attracts millions of devotees every year. Apart from its spiritual importance, Puri offers beautiful beaches, peaceful surroundings, and rich cultural heritage, making it a perfect blend of devotion and relaxation.
Itinerary
Arrive at Puri and check in to your hotel. After freshening up, visit the sacred Shri Jagannath Temple for darshan (subject to temple timings and rules). Later, explore the local markets and spend the evening at Puri Beach, enjoying the peaceful sea breeze. Overnight stay in Puri.
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing. Visit the world-famous Konark Sun Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Chandrabhaga Beach. On the way back, stop at Ramchandi Temple and Pipili handicraft village. Return to Puri in the evening. Overnight stay in Puri.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Visit Gundicha Temple or Loknath Temple (time permitting). Later, proceed for departure with divine memories of Jagannath Puri.
